Food Trends Worth Trying
In our lives, we have seen lots of food trends worth trying. Some of us likes clean hygienic organic food & others love processed, fat-free, sugar free, diet foods. Most of the current food dishes are pretty amazing but still they are never enough to quench our thirst for food trends worth trying.
Here are 5 awesome food trends worth trying:
Perhaps one of the best food trends worth trying are Chia Seeds. Nowadays seeds are one of the most popular health food. However, they have been popular and eaten for centuries. Here, today we will talk about the Chia Seeds.that have been consumed for centuries. They can be eaten on their own, but most people prefer to eat chia seeds by mixing them into other dishes.
The Sprouted grains
Another best food trends worth trying are the sprouted grains. Sprouted grains are very hot. At local markets we can buy a sprouted grain bread, tortillas, English muffins, crackers, and cereal, and the sprouted grain flour. What is a the sprouted grain? In a nutshell, grain kernels contain a raw materials needed to grow a new plant. When temperature and moisture conditions are just right, the kernel sprouts into a new baby plant, and sprout proponents believe that this version of grains offers extra health benefits of it. That’s why it is rated second in food trends worth trying.
A Sprouting requires enzymes, that allow the baby plant to digest the starch in the kernel, to supply its fuel, and boost the plants access to the nutrients to promote its growth level. The Sprouted grain enthusiasts (interested in a particular activity ) said that when we eat these plants, we will enjoy the same benefits and easier to digest starch and more nutrition. You still get the benefits of eating whole grains. While I will still keep eating and recommending Regular whole grains, technically called non-germinated or developed or produce something.
The Dairy alternatives
Also, one of the most healthiest food trends worth trying includes the dairy alternatives. Before Whole Foods expanded out of Texas, I remember that i needing to go to my local indie health food store to buy any sort of milk which did not come from a cow or a goat. I even learned how to make my own plant? which based milk by soaking nuts or seeds, purveying them ans then squeezing the liquid through a nut milk bag. Its fun, but they are not very convenient.
Now a days, you can find milk alternatives in every main supermarket, and even at discount stores, that’s just the starting. With more people ditching dairy, or at least cutting back, a variety of plant-based and dairy free products are emerging, including pea and hemp protein powder, as a yoghurt and a ice cream made from coconut and almond milk, and we will definitely be seeing more.On this years Natural Products Expo West, I saw algae milk, which is not in the stores yet, but it is a another addition of the long list of milk substitutes, including options made from nuts Like: almond, hazelnut, seeds and hemp, sunflower, flax) and the whole grains of Oat, brown rice and quinoa. This trend is definitely ripe for more growth!
The Natural functional foods
The most natural food trends worth trying includes the natural functional foods. For years ago, wehave seen products engineered to provide functional benefits like: bars and shakes formulated with isolated nutrients or foods bolstered with amino acids or vitamins they do not evenly naturally contain. But now a days we emphasis its on the functional benefits of whole foods that have antioxidants and nutrients built-in, courtesy of The Mother Nature.
Its like, beets enhance endurance, blueberries protect against the sun’s UV rays, tart cherries reduce pain and improve sleep, a combo of tomato paste and olive oil has been shown fight wrinkles by boosting pro-collagen, and dark chocolate elevates mood by triggering the same sense of euphoria you experience when you’re in love. I can’t get enough of this research, and passing it onto my clients and readers is one of the things I love most about my job. Stay tuned: There’s a whole lot more of this trend to come.
The Unusual super food combination
Add on the spinach or kale to fruit smoothies has been hip for some time but now a days, nutritionists, chefs, and the health enthusiasts have been getting more creative with combinations that may seem gross at first top but they turn out to be delicious. Mishmashes (confused or jumble) currently in vogue include veggie desserts, like a eggplant cake, tomato ice cream, chocolate covered kale, and a very own the vegan spinach brownie recipe.
A Bars made with both dried fruits and veggies, and a plus savoury spices, like turmeric, cumin, and chilli pepper, i find was a Cocoa and Chipotle flavoured hummus. Now, thats one of the healthiest food trends worth trying.
